I’m 25 years old, and currently working as a pre-licensed therapist at an outpatient substance use treatment center. I’ve been doing this work for almost a year, and am in the process of looking for a second job with a different population. I like to challenge people, and get them thinking about different ideas and perspectives. I love when people do the same for me. I think that it is each of our responsibility to continue to grow–to try to reach forward toward the best version of ourselves. This means that we all have to share what we have to offer in some way, to teach and learn from each other.
On a more basic level, I’m a 20-something woman with kind of crazy hair, whose style depends more on comfort than anything else. I’ve got 3 guinea pigs who have their own Instagram, because they are cuter than I am, and I play second mommy to my grandmother’s mini golden doodle. I draw and make bracelets when I’m feeling creative (or antsy), and I love photography. Music festivals and beaches are my happy places, and I like to be in the middle of a good book (or two) at all times.
